The Sims 3

Description
''Alto Family in The Sims 3
Family connections Landgraab Family, Goth Family
Other Information
Neighborhood [[Sunset Valley]]

[[Category:Sunset Valley families]]

The Alto Family first appeared in the "The Heist" trailer when the parents were arguing with each other because Mr. Alto let his sloppy side show. This suggests that they are an argumentative family, giving a hint towards their traits. It seems that they have a business feud with the Landgraab Family, being a Nouveau Riche family, that is. Their last name is a pun on the television show, The Sopranos. It has been revealed that they are the 'bad guys' in town. The residents of Sunset Valley will have to pick the side of either the Altos with their uptown ideals or the Goths more traditional views. Even though they almost run the town, it is unknown why they aren't in any other game (see their family theories for more info).

The Altos are new money. Their unscrupulous buisness practices have gotten them far in this town. Unofficially, they own most of the local shops. But how did their daughter become such a Goody Two-Shoes?

Onomatology

Alto: "lower range of a woman's voices" "the range between soprano and tenor," "a singer whose voice lies within this range."

  • Holly: -- A type of flower or "to prick," or "ear of corn"
  • Vita: -- variation of Victoria, "life."
  • Nick: -- Nicholas refers to the Greek Goddess of Victory, Nike.
