Lopita Alto is a pre-made Sim from Isla Paradiso, the new neighborhood introduced in The Sims 3: Island Paradise. She is the wife to Alfonso Alto and has one daughter with him, Ashley, though her family tree states that Ashley is not her daughter. When the family is first played, Lopita is 20 days away from being an elder. She has 3 skill points in Charisma and 4 in Scuba Diving. She is rumored to have married her husband for money; her lifetime wish may be an evidence for this since it is, in fact, to become a gold digger.

Originally she was listed as the biological mother of Ashley Alto, but after a patch following the release of Island Paradise, she no longer is listed as such. This is also the case for Rosemarie Collins, Persephone Han, Carolina Ichtaca and Linda Scott.

According to the bio of the Ojeda family, they have a daughter with the same name. However, they are not connected on Lopita Altos' family tree, and she is not acquainted with them. It is possible that this is a mistake on the developers' part.
