Alvin Larson is one of the pre-made deceased ancestral Sims who resided during his lifetime in Bluewater Village, the shopping district shipped with The Sims 2: Open for Business. He was the husband of Elise Larson, and the father of Jason and Jodie Larson. Alvin is named Jimmy when viewing his character file. It is possible that he was originally meant to be named Jimmy, but was renamed to Alvin.

Alvin has personality points and interests, something not every ancestral Sim has. He is completely resurrectable, even though he doesn't have a grave. Alvin has the Family aspiration, and the Aries zodiac sign. As far as personality, he is very outgoing, rather active, and somewhat neat. But he is quite serious and rather grouchy.

According to Alvin's SimDNA in SimPE, his hair was black before it turned grey. According to his age data, he had 15 days left in the elder life stage when he died. Like several other pre-made deceased Sims, Alvin has a highly customized face. While the facial features are difficult to pin down, some of them, such as the ears seem to use the 1st and 26th Maxis face templates in Create a Sim.
