He is probably meant to be playable, because he recognizes his [[Goneril Capp|sister-in-law]]´s children as nieces and nephews and vice-versa. This is impossible without editing, as he is relative by marriage, and it only happens with living Sims. Another hint towards this is that he is created with the rest of Capp family, with his wife (he is 5th Sim made in Veronaville, living sims are usually created first, and their ancestors are created afterwards).

Caliban Capp (né Gale) is a pre-made deceased sim from Veronaville. He was the son of Prospero Gale and Sycorax Gale. He married Cordelia Capp and had three children: Tybalt, Juliette, and Hermia. He died in a fire along with his wife, possibly casualties in the feud between the Capps and the Montys. After his death, his three children were taken in by Caliban's mother and father-in-law, Consort and Contessa Capp. He is buried at the Capp Manor.

For some reason, when resurrected, he has brown eyes. However, if you change his appearance, they are green. You can find an I am Dead Token in his inventory. He has exactly the same facial features as Creon Nigmos of Strangetown.

Caliban's second thumbnail.

He taught his children walking and talking skills while Cordelia taught how to potty.

He has a second thumbnail, as an elder, hidden in his character file. This thumbnail has an unused hairstyle, which is also similar to Mortimer Goth's in The Sims.

He is probably meant to be playable, because he recognizes his sister-in-law´s children as nieces and nephews and vice-versa. This is impossible without editing, as he is relative by marriage, and it only happens with living Sims. Another hint towards this is that he is created with the rest of Capp family, with his wife (he is 5th Sim made in Veronaville, living Sims are usually created first, and their ancestors are created afterwards).

Caliban is the son of the witch Sycorax, and treacherous slave to Prospero in Shakespeare's The Tempest.

Resurrection tip
This Sim can be brought back to life using the Resurrect-O-Nomitron, the genie lamp or an evil witch's spell. For more information, read Game guide:Bringing Sims back to life.
