It has been suggested that this article be split into one or more articles because of This article could be devoted for vampire beds (TS3 LATE NIGHT inclusion), as for the most part the article regards with and I think Bonehilda coffin may arise issues for confusion. Bonehilda's and vampire coffin differ much in function wise, and not to mention Sarcophagus is devoted in its own article.

A coffin is a unique object, popularly (though isn't always the case) intended to serve as a bed for vampires. In The Sims: Makin' Magic and The Sims 3: Supernatural, a particular upright coffin can be bought that houses Bonehilda. In The Sims 2: Nightlife, they freeze the motives of any vampire that sleeps in them while simultaneously shielding them from sunlight. Coffins return in The Sims 4: Vampires and function like the coffins in Nightlife, and serve as a new WooHoo spot for Sims.
