- Aliens
- Diving boards
- Illness is introduced in The Sims 3: Seasons, but it plays a smaller role than in The Sims 2 since the only illness is hay fever.
Features of The Sims 3 base game in The Sims 2: Seasons
- Fishing and gardening were included in The Sims 2: Seasons but were included in The Sims 3 base game with new fish and harvestables included in latter expansion packs.
- The ability to paint the walls and floor of a swimming pool.
