Create a World
The Create A World tool gives the player the ability to create and share unique new worlds for The Sims 3. It allows players to create custom neighborhoods, just like in The Sims 2, except it is more in-depth. It was released on December 16, 2009 and is available to download for free from TheSims3.com if you have an account there. It is similar to the creation/terraforming tools in SimCity 4 and the tools used by the game developers when creating neighborhoods for the game. This means that some of the features in the Create a World tool may not be simple to use and may not be very user-friendly. You can download or upload worlds on The Exchange.
The Create a World tool is in beta mode, so it may still contain some bugs or glitches that have yet to be repaired. A fully patched version of The Sims 3 is needed in order to use it.

Bugs
- Due to a recent patch, an error(files are corrupt) appears whenever C.A.W. is run. The only known fix is to reinstall the Sims 3, reinstall C.A.W., and do not instal the patch for The Sims 3. [citation needed]
