Dalmar Dreamer is one of the pre-made deceased ancestral Sims who resided during his lifetime in Pleasantview, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims 2. He was the husband of Dacia Dreamer, the father of Davis Dreamer, the grandfather of Darren Dreamer, and the great-grandfather of Dirk Dreamer. Although Dalmar is deceased when the game begins, he appears in the family tree of his grandson Darren Dreamer.

According to his SimDNA in SimPE, Dalmar's hair was black before it turned grey. According to his age data, he had 37 days left in the elder life stage when he died.
