Albany Capp (ne Norman) is the husband of Goneril Capp and stay-at-home-dad of Miranda, Hal, Desdemona, and Ariel Capp. He lives with his family in a large house on Bard Boulevard.
Albany was married to Goneril via arrangement, largely out of desperation as his family, though prestigious, had recently fallen on hard times. He was delighted to find out that she, too, wanted children, and they started their family right away. Although Albany, being a house-husband, did most of the childcare work, he and Goneril split the teaching of their children's toddler skills rather evenly. Albany is very proud of the fact that none of his children have ever grown up badly.
Recently, Albany has been asking Goneril if she would like to have another baby. Her answer so far has been "no," but he's sure he can turn that around. This conviction bothers her.
Despite the growing rift and potential feud between Albany's sister-in-law Regan and her ex-husband, Albany maintains a friendship with Cornwall Dane. However, he fully endorses the feud with the Montys.
