Amie (Amanda) Smith is a mermaid from the Atlantic Ocean. She lived happily with her friends and family , until the day her realm was destroyed by the evil forces of Nagoona. She ran away and met her grandmother, Sabina and lived with her on earth until her 17th birthday. Nowdays she lives in a small cottage by the sea with her best friends.
Background Story
Amie was born in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean. She is known as the Princess of North Atlantic Ocean and the Keeper of the Blue Pearl. Whe she turned 6 years old, her realm was attacked by the Kraken under the orders of an Evil Mistress. She ran away and she met her grandmother in Sunlit Tides. She struggled a lot, with adapting herself into the human world and she was often bullied by other girls for having blue hair. She met her first BFF, Luciana in 6th grade. Luciana, struggles with the guilt of her twin sister, Lara being captured by the Evil Mistress when both Realms were destroyed. At first, Luciana was cold and mean but when she met Amie, she realized that both of them shared scars of seeing their kingdoms and people being destroyed, while they did nothing, but just simpy flee to safety. Now as a Young Adult, Amie lives with her best friends, Regina a girl from Bridgeport with a dream of being a sailor and fascinated with the underwater world, Luciana, a mysterious, yet sweet mermaid princess from the Antartic Ocean and Annie, a cute 19 year old resort owner with pink hair.
Amie is a young adult and she's a mermaid. When she is on earth her hair is a deep blue hair color with magenta highlits. When she jumps in water she grows a beautiful light pink mermaid tail with a light blue shell bra and her hair is lighter as well as her highlits.
Personality
Amie is described as a a very kind and sweet young woman and she is often described as kind, elegant, shy, and sophisticated, as well as a hopeless romantic and a bit childish. At first, she is seen as a little naive and insecure as a result of being sheltered for most of her life away from her family and also as a result of adapting herself in the Realm of the Humans. She's fiercely loyal to her grandmother and has to live with the rule of not going back to the Ocean. She is really talented and even though she is a mermaid she has the most beautiful voice in Sunlit Tide as well with the talent of playing multi instruments efficiently and fluently. She loves animals and she has a small dog named Sophia and a cat named Henry. She is in love with Louis, a popular surfer boy. What he doesn't know is that he also likes her.
