Biography
Everywhere he looks, it seems like somebody around Ari has done something fantastic with their life. He hopes becoming the first person in his family to attend university will be his own claim to fame; if not for himself, then he at least owes it to his family to be a role model for his siblings a source of hope for his mom. But it's kind of hard to keep his eye on the prize with his grandparents on his case and his crew, whose affirmations he thrives off of, constantly reminding him if he really wants a shot at greatness, he'll need to take off the rose-colored glasses he sees the world through. And maybe that beanie too, once in a while.

Arian Torres is a Sim living in the newly renovated town of Newcrest. Along with his mother Vivian Torres and his siblings Xiomara and Ozvaldo, he resides in the Llama Lagoon neighborhood at Haughty Heights, where his family has recently been joined by his grandparents, Luzella and Romeo Torres. At the beginning of the game, Arian is ten days away from becoming a Young Adult.

When first played, Arian is employed part-time as a Barista while also balancing his enrollment in High School as a C-student. Initially having chosen the Friend of the World Aspiration, Arian currently aspires to become a Freelance Botanist, however given his biography and that he possesses only a single skill point in Gardening, it's likely that Academic may be a better fit. Having mastered the Photography skill and made decent progress in Fitness, Logic and Dancing, Arian is a well-rounded, well-intentioned, and outgoing Sim, albeit somewhat self-important. Like his mother and sister, his relationship with his grandparents is tenuous.

Arian carries a camera and tripod in his inventory, in addition to his high school homework.
