Biography
Astryd may not know much, but she certainly knows what she sees: Mommy is never around, and when she is, she spends all her time in her office, no matter how often Astryd asks to play. And as much as she loves Daddy, Astryd can sense that something's off; the happiness she sees in his eyes when he plays with her or reads her to sleep disappears when he's talking to Mommy. Why can't Mommy be around? Why is her tummy getting bigger? And why can't everyone just be happy?

Astryd Rashid is a Sim living in the newly renovated town of Newcrest. Along with her parents Loukiya and Nabil Rashid, she resides at Magniloquent Manor, a house inherited by her mother and the largest of the five residential lots that comprise the neighborhood of Llama Lagoon. At the beginning of the game, Astryd is four days away from becoming a Child.

Astryd barely knows her mother but is incredibly close to her father, who essentially serves as her sole caretaker in Loukiya's frequent absence. The second-youngest Sim in the entire town, Astryd already possesses at least a single skill point in every Toddler Skill, with the exception of Thinking, a testament to her father's capability as a parent.

In her inventory, Astryd carries a Toddler Tablet, a lump of clay, and a copy of Princess Plumbob's Castle.
