Early Life

Bessie Clavell was the second child of Martin Clavell and Janae Wrotek. Her father and both his parents, Xander Clavell and Tamara Donner, all served as President. Lilian therefore grew up in a comfortable home with many dignified guests. She was very close to her grandmother Tamara, but distant from her other grandmother, Lillian Wrotek. Bessie also grew up with her aunt Donna, her uncle Jasen and their son Jack. She has an older sister Lilian.

Bessie was a child when her parents divorced twice, but didn't mind as she was much closer to her father anyway. Janae moved out of the family home and lived alone until her death. Martin remarried to Carly Guy, and had two further children, Martin and Guy.

Career

Bessie, like her sister Lilian, was inspired to become an actress after the pair watched their grandmother Tamara perform in a play. Bessie, although equal to her sister in pay and title, has usually performed less dramatic roles. She prefers light-hearted or comedic roles, for example the crazy scientist.

Bessie sometimes regrets not having a child, but is content with her longterm partner Jedidiah Cash. He lives in the Bachelor's old house.

Later Life

Bessie is still an actress, and has been for 61 years. She lives in the present Clavell residence, Miramontes, in Sunset Valley, with her sister Lilian, their half-brother Martin, his wife Rachel and their children Martin, Carl, Rosa and Bertha.

She is 80.
