The Crystal family is a family that was introduced in The Sims 2 and returned for The Sims 3. The family will be re-appearing in The Sims 4 living in Willow Creek.

The current known members of the Crystal family are Ruby Crystal, Carlton Crystal, Diamond Crystal, Vincent Crystal, Tanya Crystal, Sonya Crystal, Darren Crystal, Jenna Crystal, Amanda Crystal, Thomas Crystal, Rachel Crystal, Scott Crystal, Adam Crystal, and Elizabeth Crystal.

Ruby and Carlton Crystal founded Crystal-Reed Valley (formely Crystal Valley) and thus spent most of their life there along with most later generations of the family. Ruby, Carlton, and their daughter Diamond previously lived in Willow Creek before founding Crystal-Reed Valley. The family are the richest and oldest family in town as they are the key founders. In The Sims 2 a small section of the Valley is bought by the Reed family. The Reed family eventually become co-founders of the town after Jenna gets married to Thomas Crystal (nee Reed) leading to the change in the towns name.

The Sims 4

In The Sims 4 Ruby, Carlton, and Diamond Crystal will live in Willow Creek, meaning the time period of that neighbourhood will be about 71 years before The Sims 2. It will feature an Young Adult Ruby and Carlton and a Child Diamond. The family are quite a wealthy family but are most like every other Sim. They live in an avarage house but Carlton is hoping for bigger and better things and to one day found his very own town and be the richest Sim around.

The Sims 4

When an Create a World tool (or something similar) is avalible the timeline will continue on from The Sims 2 and Crystal-Reed Valley will be set about 25 years after The Sims 2, which is 29 years before The Sims 3. This will serve as the actual Crystal storyline therefore the time period of The Sims 4 is 29 years before The Sims 3. The main Crystal household will feature an Adult Jenna and Thomas Crystal, and their daughter Rachel Crystal who will be a Child. Other Crystal households will be an Elder Tanya Crystal, and another will be an Young Adult Amanda Crystal. Darren and Sonya Crystal will be deceased in this game dieing from Electrocution and a Fire respectfully.
