Oh, thank you! I'm making the family tree without a program or anything but with Paint.net, it's a simple paint programm, which you can download for free on the internet.
And which Sims icons do you mean? ^^ The ones of The Sims 2? I did them like this, while in The Sims 3 and The Sims 4 I just made screenshots of them in the CAS and in The Sims 1 I just recreated the sim in The Sims Creator and also screenshoted them for the headshot ^_^
I hope I could help you with this! And just ask, if something isn't clear. Also: I love doing family trees, so if you want me to do one I would gladly help you out there ^^

Alright! That wouldn't be a problem :) Should I do one for the rebooted family, the original or both? And can I use the headshots you used in your family trees or do you want to upload some headshots with higher resolution like they are in my family trees? ^^
Edit:The Alternate Crystal Family Tree v1 So, now I made an example family tree in my style (even though I had to make new boxes and everything a little smaller). How do you like it? Should I change the colour, maybe also make the boxes of the deceased sims grey? Also remove the ♂ and the †-Symbol and just write Unborn Baby Boy? Maybe remove the question-marks and just display the names?
Wow, that family tree is really good! You have probably seen that I uploaded my own family tree, I made that using a website but i prefer yours much better! I don't think it needs any changes to it I like it how it is! Thanks a lot! I could upload higher resolution if you prefer plus I have an adult version of Tanya from The Sims 3 that should be on there instead of her Sims 2 version! The Original Crystal Family Tree v1The Alternate Crystal Family Tree v2 Alright! Now I made the original family tree and changed the portraits in the alternate one! :) And I must say you've got an really interesting family there ^_^ Should I still change something (like maybe mark the death type?) or is it good now? ^^
Thank you so much! I forgot to mention that Julia, Jackson, Emma, and Thomas are all deceased! The only other changes I would like is for all the deceased Sims to be black and white and yes mark the death type please! :D Thank you, I made the alternative family because the story got a bit confusing for me with the original family plus I thought I might as well reboot them for The Sims 4! I love your families you have too ^^

Well, now I marked their death types with symbols (I also added an abduction symbol for Jenna ^_^). Is that alright or should I make it more clear? And did Emma also died of old age?

Yes! My favorite family of yours is the Schweiger family and my favorite Sim of yours is Ann Schweiger! I know how you feel, I have to do the whole of my original Crystal family plus extras and my alternative Crystal family! Thanks, but my original Crystal family has stopped at The Sims 3 so I'm all focused on my alternative family which will continue in The Sims 4 (when I get it that is aha) ^^

EDIT I've just noticed a mistake with the Original family tree, you've marked Scott as the son of Thomas aha. There's a line connecting them! He's not the son of him I didn't do parents for him! Hey Jason. Have you considered setting up your blog post regarding splitting the timeline into a forum post instead? Doing this would allow an "official" discussion on the topic.
