Emil Martinez, previously known as Emily Martinez, is a single, female-to-male transgendered Sim living alone. His family is currently unknown.

Life History[edit | edit source]

Background[edit | edit source]

Just like with plenty of other Sims, Emil's past is mostly mysterious. Emil is mostly likely Latino due to his appearance and name. However, he was born a girl because his biography states that his old name was Emily. At some point in Emily's life, she receives reassignment surgery and he becomes Emil, a man. It's unknown if his family is supporting of this transition or not.

The Sims 4: Get to Work[edit | edit source]

Emil is unemployed until he is hired by Meredith Moore to work at her thrift store, Moore Stuff & Things, as a sales associate. He is first assigned to answer customers' questions, which he does well. Then, when Meredith checks up on Emil, she reassigns him to help ring out customers, which he also does well. At the end of his first work day, Emil is given praise for his work ethic by his new boss, Meredith.

After he arrives for work the next day, Meredith assigns Emil to restock some sold out items. However, Meredith soon reassigns Emil to help her mother, Elizabeth Moore, when she makes a surprise visit. While Meredith takes over restocking before retreating to her office, Emil helps Elizabeth with her shopping until she leaves. A few hours later, Meredith comes out of her office and asks Emil if her mother is gone. Emil responds with a yes before Meredith thanks him for helping out.

She then explains to him about the situation with her parents and her love life and how she is happy with her current life. Emil sympathizes with Meredith on the fact that he doesn't have a love life either, but he's happy with his current life. Before closing, Meredith suggests to Emil that he should visit her and her tenants at some point in Oasis Springs. Emil appreciates the gesture and promises to do so.

Several nights later, Emil heads to the Cactus Juice Bar in Oasis Springs where he bumps into Meredith. After they greet each other, Meredith introduces Emil to a couple of her tenants, Jackie Rose and her niece, Janet Parker. Emil immediately hits it off with Janet. He spends most of the night with her, conversing over drinks. Emil even learns that Janet is transgender just like him, so they share their experiences. Eventually, Emil leaves the bar, forgetting to give his number to Janet.

The next day, Emil heads into work when Meredith needs him. She tells him that she saw him and Janet spending the night together at the bar. Meredith then suggests to Emil that he should get together Janet. Emil explains that he would, but he doesn't have Janet's number. Meredith then offers Janet's number, much to Emil's excitement. A few minutes later, Emil is promoted to Senior Sales Associate after Meredith gets an unexpected call. Emil doesn't know what to say and isn't allowed to because Meredith closes the store early.

Being given Janet's number, Emil decides to call her the next morning. He explains to Janet that Meredith gave her number to him. Then they talk to one another for an hour or so. Some days later, on Winterfest Day, Emil goes to Meredith's Winterfest party, after having been invited. He is welcomed by Janet and later given a surprise gift by her. Emil stays until the end of the party when Father Winter arrives.

The day after Winterfest, Emil has to go into work when Meredith decides to open the store. Emil spends some time getting used to the new register that Meredith bought. Not too long afterwards, she asks him how he liked the Winterfest party. Emil expresses his joy and says he really liked hanging out with Janet. Meredith then tells him that she is rooting for him and Janet. Emil later gets a call from Janet where they talk with each other yet again.
