The Fisher Family was started by Chris Fisher, one of the Original 8. It consists of his middle son Nick Fisher, Nick's twin sons Andrew and Thomas Fisher, Nick's youngest son Caleb Carpenter, Andrew's spouse Ed Fisher from the Taylor family, and their twin sons Billy and Randy Fisher. Nick was sired by Matt Baker. Andrew and Thomas were sired by Drew Carpenter. Caleb was sired by Jason Potter. While Thomas has moved out of the Fisher home, he has not left the family to join another which is why his information is still on this page.
Dan Plummer gave birth to Chris' oldest son Jared Plummer in the Plummer home. As such, information on Jared can be found on the Plummer family page. Kyle Potter gave birth to Chris' youngest son Martin Potter in the Potter home. As such, information on Martin can be found on the Potter family page. Lance Taylor gave birth to Nick's middle son Joe Taylor in the Taylor home. As such, information on Joe can be found on the Taylor family page.
After Chris found himself in The Genesis Project, he quickly developed his fishing skills while he was pregnant with Nick. He tried to tend to his home business of selling fish to his neighbors, continue to develop his fishing skills (except for winter when his lake froze over), and care for his little son Nick after he was born. Jared was born to Dan the day before Nick, which was fine with Chris since he wouldn't have to care for both boys. By the time Nick was a toddler, Chris had mastered his fishing skills and was able to manage the home business somewhat. Once Nick became a child, Chris could focus on growing his home business some more while Nick developed his own fishing skills. By the time Nick was a teen, Chris was able to alternate running the home business and fishing with Nick very well. In fact, maybe a little too well because someone decided to rob from the Fisher family. But because of Nick's quick response, the thief was caught. When Nick became a young adult, Chris decided to buy one of the lots that Tyler had to expand his fishing business.
Nick gave birth to twins, Andrew and Thomas, shortly after his adult birthday. While Chris was trilled to have the Fisher Family continue, he wasn't too trilled about having a baby in his home again, much less two. Just over another season, Nick gave birth to Caleb. Chris still wasn't trilled to have yet another baby in the house, but he had given up caring at this point because he knew that Nick was going to do what he was going to do. It wasn't long that Chris joined his other Original equals.
When Chris passed away, Nick took over the household and businesses. Some time afterwards, Andrew became the first Sim to be engaged to another Sim, Ed. Tyler was the last of the Originals still living and against the idea but eventually consented to this new path of handling families and unions. From that union, Ed gave birth to Billy and Randy. Shortly after, Nick became an elder and Thomas moved out to live in one of the new apartments.
