Jessica Lawson is an only child Sim whose family just consists of her parents, Crystal and Steven Lawson. As a child, she attended public grade school. Now a teen, Jessica lives in Windenburg where she attends DeMonet's School for Exceptionally Gifted Children.

Also, as a child, her best friend is Julia Parker until they have a falling out over Julia not inviting Jessica to a neighborhood-only party, sparking a bitter rivalry. However, Jessica is smart in her own right because a test she takes allows her the chance to attend DeMonet's school. Although, Jessica is unaware that Julia is also going to attend, continuing their rivalry.

Life History[edit | edit source]

The Sims 4[edit | edit source]

Jessica is born to Steven and Crystal Lawson some time well into their adult life. Jessica currently lives with her parents at the Parkshore house in Pendula View, Willow Creek. Jessica doesn't seem to do much other than go to school and even then, it doesn't seem that Jessica has many friends. That is until she meets Julia Parker. She heads over to Julia's house one evening to do homework. However, one Friday night, Jessica is invited over again just to hang out with Julia. She even swims with Julia in her pool.

The next day, which is Saturday, Jessica is invited over to Julia's house yet again. Jessica plays video games with Julia before playing with her all over Julia's house. They play from Julia's basement to her bedroom to her front entryway. By the end of the day, Jessica declares Julia her friend. This is proven when Jessica cheers Julia up and reassures that everyone gets in trouble sometimes after Julia gets yelled at by a teacher. Not only does this help Julia master her social skill, but Julia also declares Jessica her best friend forever, no matter what.

About a couple of weeks later, Jessica is stunned to learn that she wasn't invited to a party that Julia's family had thrown. Although, Jessica reassures Julia by saying everything is fine, despite that Julia had seen Jessica alone. Julia asks Jessica if she wants to play, but Jessica refuses by saying she has to go home. The next day, Jessica learns about an upcoming test for her entire grade and gets a text from Julia asking if she wants to study at Julia's house. Jessica doesn't answer the text that day and instead texts back the next day, saying they should study at Jessica's house.

When Julia comes over, she is yelled at by Jessica for not inviting her to the going away party that the Parkers thrown the other day. Julia tries to explain that the party was for the neighborhood only, but Jessica doesn't listen. The two of them fight and argue until they finally declare their friendship over. Jessica adds to it by declaring Julia an enemy. At dinner time, Jessica tells Steven and Crystal about her incident. The next morning, on a freezing cold one, Jessica is still upset, but Crystal reassures Jessica that Crystal will speak to Julia's parents. That evening, Jessica is probably taught to not hang out with self-absorbed people like the Parkers from Steven and Crystal after they have a fight with Julia's parents.

Jessica must've done well on her test because DeMonet most likely visited her parents to tell them that she has the chance to attend to attend DeMonet's school in Windenburg. Jessica obviously accepts, but at the same time, it's revealed that her falling out with Julia supposedly left the latter bullied and friendless. It's unknown if the same thing applies to Jessica.
