Jealous is a social trait that was introduced in The Sims 4 via a patch. It is only available for teens and older. In the 23rd of March 2021 update they made some new improvements.
"These Sims get Jealous more easily than other Sims. They gain a boost of Confidence from being around their significant other, but get Tense if they haven't seen them recently."
Attributes[edit | edit source]
- These Sims easily become jealous.
- These Sims become confident when spending time with a loved one.
- Jealous Sims become tense, when they haven't seen their loved one recently.
- If the Sim is near a couple (boyfriend/girlfriend or higher) and they don't have someone with them, they may get an "Envious" +1 sad buff.
- These Sims can get the uncomfortable "Jealous Pangs" moodlet when his/her loved one is chatting with someone not their relative.
- These Sims can "talk it out" to other sims by reflecting their constant struggle with romance and trust.
- Jealous Sims get a new interaction "Talk through issues" which gives a chance of a reduced duration of negative buffs from less serious Jealous buffs.
