Biography
'Josh was always athletically gifted. From cricket to football, there's not one sport he's not good at. Always been accused of overshadowing his brothers, will Josh try to move away from the limelight?'
Joshua Dylan 'Josh' O'Reilly is a former Waterford Valley football player and the husband of Jade O'Reilly. Josh used to be a world renowned football player, but because it put a strain on his relationship, he decided to quit and move into the Law Enforcement career. Josh is the fourth O'Reilly child, and he has always been overshadowing his brothers with his athletic talent. Life could not be sweeter for Josh, as he has four wonderful children and a wife that is easy-going and calm, as well as having a job that makes him well known around Waterford Valley.
Josh was born in Ireland, and he moved to Waterford Valley when he was a teenager. Josh is the fourth child of Elizabeth(née Hughes) and Seamus O'Reilly. Josh has four brothers called Jake, Charlie, Alex and Anthony. From a very early age, Josh showed an interest in sports. This progressed until he was a child, and that's when he started to join after school football clubs. Josh was also an academically gifted child, as he received his first A+ report card when he was six days away from becoming a teenager.
Josh was a popular student at school, but he would often deny this. He knew that people wanted to be around him, but he didn't want everyone to feel like that had to start worshipping him or anything. When Dean Burton, a rival of Josh's, started to pick on Liam Collins for being gay, Josh showed bravery in his teenage years and managed to make Dean stop. Josh didn't know Liam very well, but he was very against homophobia and bullying, which is why he made Dean stop bullying Liam.
After the fight with Dean that almost put him in hospital, Josh returned back to school as a hero. Before the fight, Josh was dating Charlotte Bullen, but they broke up due to Charlotte kissing Dean. A few weeks before school broke up for Summer, Josh had found out from his parents that he and his family were going to move to Waterford Valley. For a brief time, Josh dated Danielle Savage, who was in the year below. On the last day of term, Josh said goodbye to his fellow classmates and left for Waterford Valley.
After a few days of settling in to his new home in Waterford Valley, Josh decided to go out and explore what it had to offer. He was a student at Roundview College at the time, so he thought it would be a good idea to visit Roundview Gardens(the campus for Roundview College & University students). In a café there, he met his wife Jade O'Reilly when a band named Friendly Fires were playing. Josh didn't know of Friendly Fires at the time, but he liked the look of Jade so he bought her a milkshake and the two started talking. After exchanging numbers, they realised they had more in common than expected and both got jobs at Finn & Jack's Diner(now Woodley's Diner). One night, while the pair were cleaning the diner, Josh had realised that Jade had shown signs of interest since the moment they met, but he still wasn't convinced that her feelings for him were true. However, when the pair had finished cleaning, Josh made a joke about Harry Potter and then leant in to kiss Jade. Jade returned the kiss, and from then on, they were dating.
After Josh and Jade had finally graduated from Roundview with first class honours, they decided to quit their jobs at the diner and they continued to live next to each other in Roundview's student cottages. Jade had lived with her sister Lauryn, her then live-in girlfriend(now wife) Elle and her friend Renee, whereas Josh lived with his brother Charlie and friends Deon and James. After five years of dating, Josh went to Jade's house and proposed to her. They eventually got married and Jade moved into Josh's house. The pair decided to have children and when Josh is at work, Jade gives birth to their first child, a boy named Leo Alexander Felix O'Reilly. A few months afterwards, the pair welcome their second child, Flynn Oliver Sean O'Reilly. As their sons age into children, Jade gives birth to the couple's first daughter, Amelia Sapphire Elizabeth O'Reilly.
After Josh gets promoted to a Superstar in the athletic career, Josh has to play matches abroad, which meant that he became more well known and girls started to fall for his good looks and charming personality. Josh rejected all advances that he received, but this made his wife worry. This finally put a strain on their relationship when a woman that Josh didn't even know started to claim that Josh was the father of her child. Josh was proven not to have been the child's father, and it is finally forgotten when Josh decides to retire his #5 shirt to pursue a career in Law Enforcement.
The O'Reillys welcome their fourth child, a girl named Emily Lauryn Amy O'Reilly. Josh becomes an uncle when Jade's sister, Lauryn and her wife adopt a toddler named Aisling. Emily then grows into a child, and Jade and Josh expand their house so that Emily has her own bedroom.
