Toddlerhood
Kia was adopted by Natalya Jade when she was a toddler. She had every single toy she wanted, and started playing the Xylophone. She was good at it because she was a Virtuoso. Shortly after coming to the house, she witnessed Fiona McIrish and Molly French die. Her mom attempted to comfort her, and it usually worked.
Childhood
She grew up well and obtained the trait Good Sense of Humor. She became very close to her mom and her aunt Demaris. She started to go to school with Sandi French for a short period of time. Then Sandi grew to a young adult, just in time! Kia knew the way to school. She had perfect grades and was on the honor roll. And then she met Alex, her new best friend. She had a slight crush on him, and he always came over after school.
There was just two problems - Alex didn't care about school as much as she did, and they shared the same last name. They weren't related though.
Explanation
Alex Jade was born into the original Jade family, with Claire and John. Natalya was a housemate to them; almost like foster parents. So when Natalya adopted Kia, Kia was not related to Alex or Alex's big sister, Jennifer.
Teenage Years
Her mother died and she was in a horrible mood for days. Her aunt Larissa resurrected Natalya, but her relationship with her mom had plummeted down to acquaintance. Eventually, she just talked to her cousins Nia and Mia. She got jealous, though, of Nia getting all the boys, and just went on dates with Alex all the time.
Young Adulthood
She moved out of the house, only to go to the house across the street, where the Keaton family used to live.
