Life
Note: This section only explains the parts of the character's life that had a large impact on the story line.
Young Adult
Mary-Sue and Daniel first met in their junior year of college; She was the busy vice-president of the student-council, and Daniel let her relax and be free from the stresses and pressure of meetings. As a thanks, at that year's Spring Formal, they finally went steady (something that Daniel had evidently wanted to do for a long time.) During their senior year in college, they were one of the most well-known couples on campus, and quickly became lovebirds. Soon after they got out of college, they decided to move in together and get married; Despite the hidden fact that Daniel's flirtatious tendencies were still strong.
Adult
When both of them had grown into adults, they quickly tried for children, and, although they were only expecting one child, Mary-Sue gave birth to twin girls. When the twins were on the verge of growing from toddlers to children, it was discovered that Angela had narcolepsy; The couple's fear and panic has caused both them to shelter and overprotect Angela, while they just let Lilith fade into the background. However, this was much worse on Mary-Sue than it was on Daniel; Mary-Sue became a workaholic in order to keep enough funds in the house for a medical emergency, and this kept her distracted long enough for Daniel to begin an affair with Madeline. However, this affair didn't last long before Mary-Sue was able to come home from work early enough to see him flirting with her in the kitchen.
