Oliver Moore is an agent with the Bridgeport Intelligence Agency. He is the main protagonist in Fanon:Agent Moore.

Storyline[edit | edit source]

Oliver was born in September 1982. He has an older brother named Daniel. His mother died after a battle with Alzheimer's when Oliver was college-aged. He harbors resentment towards his father for having an affair during this time. Oliver later married a woman and resided in Sunset Valley. They had a child. His wife and infant son were killed after getting in a devastating car incident. The person responsible was never found. Oliver was devastated and crippled with grief, prompting him to move to Bridgeport. By the time of the first season, he had been employed with the Bridgeport Intelligence Agency for four years.

At the start of the first season, Oliver is saddened by the death of his colleague, who was murdered on the job. Oliver discovers that Eloise Clark would be replacing him. The two romantically bond over the course of their assignment. However, after a night at a college, Oliver is stabbed. While in the hospital, he broke off his relationship with Eloise. He is also placed on probation at work for having a relationship with his subordinate. Meanwhile, Oliver bonds with Jenn Heath, the technician at the agency with whom he had a fling with months earlier. However, Jenn begins to frighten Oliver when he discovers she knows details about the stabbing that weren't made public. Oliver then finds out that Jenn didn't show up for work the day he was stabbed, prompting him to go to Eloise for help. After a confrontation, Jenn attempts to burn down the agency. She's arrested after breaking into Eloise's apartment. Oliver and Eloise reconcile.

Oliver discovers that Eloise is pregnant. He reminds her that it's against the rules of the agency for them to be in a relationship--although they have no intention to stop seeing each other.

Meanwhile, Julie Baker is brought in to be the new director of the agency. The agency investigates the death of Song Jingyi, a Chinese politician who was killed in Bridgeport. After losing a suspect in the case, the investigation faces a dead end. However, Oliver discovers that Song Jingyi had a sister in mainland China. Oliver and Julie travel to China and Oliver learns that Song Jingyi had a “dangerous” boyfriend: Nick Alto. Oliver and Julie begin investigating Nick Alto. After Nick gets word that he’s being investigated, he orders Steve Pearce (as the mayor of the city) to shut down the investigation. Julie reluctantly complies and Oliver is furious. Oliver is anonymously sent a picture of Nick and Pearce colluding, and leaks it publicly, resulting in Pearce losing the gubernatorial race.

Nick discovers that Oliver leaked the picture and attempts to murder him by blowing up his townhouse. However, Oliver survives. The FBI gets wind of Nick being a suspect and Nick is arrested for attempted murder. Following his association to Nick’s criminal activities, Pearce resigns as mayor. As an act of retribution to Oliver, Nick reveals that Oliver and Eloise are in a relationship to Julie. Julie fires Oliver, having violated a rule of the agency. Realizing that Nick still poses a threat to his family, Oliver talks to Nick and offers to free him from his FBI investigations in exchange for leaving him and his family alone.

Oliver and Eloise's child is born at the end of the season.

The FBI begins working with the agency to investigate Nick Alto. Nick and Oliver (who has been fired from the agency), working together to undermine the investigation, are able to thwart the FBI’s interactions with suspects Scott Abbott and Steve Pearce. The investigation is shut down. Dean Caldwell, the FBI agent who was in charge of the investigation, is contacted with an anonymous about Oliver and Nick’s relationship. Realizing that either Pearce or Abbott is talking to the FBI, Nick and Oliver plan on going on the run. However, Caldwell is killed in a hit and run by an unknown motorist. Nick discovers that Abbott was the one who spoke to the FBI. Realizing that Abbott can’t be trusted, Nick and Oliver kill Abbott. Eloise and Oliver then reveal to each other that they want to get married. Oliver’s father, Robert, returns. Despite having a rocky relationship, Robert and Oliver manage to heal old wounds, until Robert reveals that he was the one driving the car that killed Dean Caldwell. Robert reveals that he has cancer and wanted to spend as much time with his son as possible before he dies. Oliver connects the dots to Nick and disowns him. Oliver is approached by the FBI and Oliver reveals everything, incriminating Nick but leaving his father anonymous. Nick is arrested and Oliver prepares to launch his private investigating business.
