The Sims 3


Salad Extremist is a lifestyle trait available in The Sims 3. It is first available at birth.

Salad Extremist Sims never choose to eat anything but salad, and doing so causes them to quickly become ill. These Sims believe every salad is beautiful and deserves to be worshipped and celebrated.

Attributes

  • Salad Extremists can only eat and cook salad.
  • Salad Extremists will get disgusted and nauseous from eating non-Salad foods.

Special Interactions

  • Salad Extremists will learn to prepare salad alternative dishes when practicing the Cooking skill. Only Salad Extremists can prepare these dishes from the fridge.
  • Salad Extremists can complain about Non-Salad foods,
  • Salad Extremists can enthuse about salad.
  • Salad Extremists can Do a Salad Pick Up Line
  • Salad Extremists can Tell a Salad Joke
  • Salad Extremists can WooHoo with another Sim while covered in Salad.
  • Other Sims can applaud Salad Extremism towards other Salad Extremists as a friendly interaction. They can also mock non-Salad Extremists as a mean interaction.
  • Salad Extremists can steal salad from neighbors' fridges.

Player Notes

  • Salad Extremists will have a high relationship with PlantSims upon meeting.
  • Salad Extremist vampires must consume plasma salad from the fridge. Drinking from other Sims will make them nauseous.
  • This trait does not conflict​ with the Angler trait, even though Salad Extremists become nauseous from eating fish.
  • Simmunity lifetime reward makes Salad Extremists immune from being sick by eating non-Salad. They will still get the "Disgusted" moodlet however.
  • Salad Extremists will get a "Beautifully Decorated" noodles if there are at least 2 Salads sitting in the same room with them.
  • Sims with the Salad Extremist and Slob (The Sims 3) traits will enjoy eating spoiled salad.
  • Sims with the Salad Extremist and Neat (The Sims 3) traits will become sad if they eat a spoiled salad, believing that there is much more beautiful salad potential.
  • Sims with the Salad Extremist and Insane (The Sims 3), Hopeless Romantic and Family-Oriented (The Sims 3 traits can talk to Spsalads, get into romantic relationships with Salads, propose and get married to salads, and even Try For Baby with Salad. Female Salad Extremists can get pregnant with a SaladSim. The Sim will have green skin, green and red hair, and be born with the Salad Extremist trait and SaladSim hidden trait.
  • Sims with the Salad Extremist trait will paint Salads.

Special Moodlets

Image Moodlet Name Notes
Nauseous Salad Extremists who eat non salad food will get "Nauseous" moodlet and vomit after it expires.
Disgusted

In addition to being nauseous, salad extremists will also get this moodlet. Salad Extremists will still get this moodlet even if they have the Simmunity lifetime reward.
