Serena Durwood (née Caliente) is a pre-made Sim who lives in Moonlight Falls with her husband, their two children and her burdensome mother. Like her mother, she is a witch but Serena tries to keep it secret. She is a good Sim and loves her family more than anything. However, her mother Doreen, who is a proud witch, strongly disapproves her marriage to a normal Sim and tries her best to tear Serena and her husband apart.

Doreen went as far as cursing Rick with enormous ears, yet her devious trick did not work well as Serena apparently has a thing for big ears. Despite her mother's mean attitude toward her husband and their totally opposite personalities, Serena is best friends with Doreen. Serena is also good friends with Dayvid Musgrave and Chauncey Grimm, friends with Pip Goodfellow and distant friends with Branch Timbley.

She has level 4 in Alchemy and level 4 in Writing.
