Sumaiyah was born in 2000 to Aydin Bhaiyat, a single father, her mothe died during childbirth. Several weeks later Aydin put Sumaiyah up for adoption. Sumiayah was adopted instantly by Janine and Alexis Clock. (Two recently married women). Janine and Alexis found Sumaiyah and another girl at the adoption centre, Chloe-Jasmine Mills. The two were adopted together and moved in.
Chloe-Jasmine packed her things and ran away in November 2015. Chloe-Jasmine decided she didn't like staying with the Clock's and found it unfair. Chloe-Jasmine left, leaving no note. The family were distraught and searched for months, they moved to Bridgeport later.
When Sumaiyah started secondary school, Chloe-Jasmine started teaching there, under the alias Nicki O'Kernagan. Nicki started teaching Sumaiyah. Sumaiyah recognised Chloe-Jasmine months later, and told Janine and Alexis. The two spied on her and spoke to her. Chloe-Jasmine was relieved to find her mothers.
