Tracey Wayne Lin-Lothario is the sole son of Roxie Lin and Don Lothario. He is the love interest of Nadine Straight and the adoptive half-brother of Steffi Breckenridge. He is also the nephew of Shirley and George Dean, and the cousin of their son, Lonnie. Tracey resides in Riverview with his mother Roxie and step-father Harold.
Tracey has a strained relationship with his father, as the two share a mutual dislike towards each other, and he doesn't know his other step-father, Hal. He is, however, acquainted with his half-sister Steffi.
Tracey Wayne Lin-Lothario was born to parents Roxie Lin and Don Lothario. The couple was thrown off-guard because they were expecting a girl; the name Tracey stuck. They were doing well-enough. Roxie and Don had their house to themselves after her sister, Shirley, had moved out to go live with her boyfriend (and later on husband). Don had a handsomely paying job as a doctor, and Roxie liked her job as a local musician.
Parent's Divorce
However, the two had a very unstable marriage. Both had commitment issues and often cheated on each other by flirting with other people. Their divorced was finalized when Tracey was 6 years old. Don would later on get remarried to Hal Breckenridge after a few flings with other women. Tracey spent most of his child and teenage years without a father figure around.
Teenage Years
Despite growing up with a single mother, Tracey excelled in school. He was well-liked by his friends, but didn't let his social life affect his studies. He had aspirations to go somewhere in life; he didn't know where. He hoped he would marry his high-school sweetheart of 4 months, La Shawn Parsons, climb the corporate ladder, eventually live in a mansion. That image was shattered, however. Towards the end of high school, La Shawn and Tracey broke up, just weeks away from graduation.
Around the same time, his mother remarried to Harold, finally giving Tracey some more stability in his life.
