Tracey Wayne Lin-Lothario is the sole son of Roxie Lin and Don Lothario. He is Nadine Lin-Lothario's ex-husband. He is thehalf-brother of Steffi Breckenridge, Opal Lin-Lansing, and Gary Lin-Lansing. He is also the nephew of Shirley and George Dean, and the cousin of their son, Lonnie. Tracey resides in Riverview with his wife, Dani Lin-Lothario.

Tracey has a strained relationship with his father, as the two share a mutual dislike towards each other, and he doesn't know his other step-father, Hal. He is, however, acquainted with his half-sister Stefanie. Tracey has one child from his marriage to Nadine, Chad.

Early Life[edit | edit source]

Tracey Wayne Lin-Lothario was born to parents Roxie Lin and Don Lothario. The couple was thrown off-guard because they were expecting a girl; the name Tracey stuck. They were doing well-enough. Roxie and Don had their house to themselves after her sister, Shirley, had moved out to go live with her boyfriend (and later on husband). Don had a handsomely paying job as a doctor, and Roxie liked her job as a local musician.

Parent's Divorce[edit | edit source]

However, the two had a very unstable marriage. Both had commitment issues and often cheated on each other by flirting with other people. Their divorced was finalized when Tracey was 6 years old. Don would later on get remarried to Hal Breckenridge after a few flings with other women. Tracey spent most of his child and teenage years without a father figure around.

Teenage Years[edit | edit source]

Despite growing up with a single mother, Tracey excelled in school. He was well-liked by his friends, but didn't let his social life affect his studies. He had aspirations to go somewhere in life; he didn't know where. He hoped he would marry his high-school sweetheart of 4 months, La Shawn Parsons, climb the corporate ladder, eventually live in a mansion. That image was shattered, however. Towards the end of high school, La Shawn and Tracey broke up, just weeks away from graduation.

Around the same time, his mother remarried to Harold, finally giving Tracey some more stability in his life.

Young Adulthood[edit | edit source]

After graduation, Tracey started working in the political career, and moved into the spare apartment in his mother's house. Then he met his coworker, Nadine. It was love at first sight. The two went on a few dates before becoming official.

The couple passed the one-year mark, and they moved in together, now sharing the spare apartment Tracey was living in. There was a huge surprise after Nadine moved in; Tracey's mother discovered she was pregnant. 9 Months later, he proposed to Nadine, and she said yes. Coincidentally, his new brother and sister were born on the same day, since his mother was pregnant with twins. Opal and Gary Lin-Lansing were welcomed into the world. The couple had a simple wedding at a small church.

Adulthood[edit | edit source]

Tracey received a distressing phone call one morning. The doctors at County Care General Hospital swiftly informed him that his mother and step-father had been involved in a serious car accident, and had passed away from their injuries. As per their will, Opal and Gary were to be placed in the care of their closest living relative. Since Roxie's sister, Shirley, had already passed, the courts granted Tracey and Nadine joint guardianship of the twins, as well as appointing him their power of attorney. Although a bit apprehensive about having to act in loco parentis (acting in the role of a parent), they had no choice but to take them in.

The couple moved into the apartment once inhabited by Tracey's parents. However, they hit yet another snag in their life; Nadine had fallen pregnant. Being under the scrutiny of the public eye, they made the decision to keep the baby. Chad was born 9 months later, although Tracey showed some apprehension. Consequently, Nadine always had a closer bond with their son. While he wasn't very outgoing, he was very bright.

When Chad was 4, Tracey left politics to pursue a career in music; he was quite good as well. With this gift, he soon became a noted lyricist.

Divorce[edit | edit source]

By the time Chad entered grade school, Tracey and Nadine's relationship had deteriorated. Tracey had never planned on having children; having to raise his brother and sister was enough responsibility. The couple made the decision to separate, and his now ex-wife moved out with their son.

Relationship with Dani[edit | edit source]

Some time had passed, and Tracey decided to go out for drinks one night. He encountered non-other than his ex-sister-in-law, Dani. After a few too many drinks, the two ended up WooHooing. The morning after, they decided to just end it there, and never speak of it again. But the two still harbored attraction for one another, and stayed friends. A few years later, they wound up Woohooing again, and started officially dating, to Nadine's chagrin.

Elder Years[edit | edit source]

Approaching the end of their lives, Tracey and Dani quickly became engaged to each other. After hearing this news, Nadine packed up and moved to Hidden Springs with Tracey's and her son. That was the last time they would ever hear from Nadine.

The two married shortly after, in the same church where he married Nadine all those years ago. However, they rushed into it and it really showed. Tracey soon found Dani's behavior to be... erratic. The two divorced after just a year of marriage.

One day, Tracey was eating jelly beans. By coincidence, Tracey ate one that gave him a fatal dose of food poisoning. He promptly passed, with some people turing their suspicions on Dani.
