Hello everyone!
I have a big problem with The Sims 1. Successfully installed After that i run the game and this happens:

I don't know how to fix it, this error is brand new to me... I use a Lenovo Yoga Book with Win10 Pro. After the loading it seems that I can play with the game, but without an amount of the screen I just can't use it.

Do someone has an idea how to fix this?—Preceding unsigned comment added by Tiriel (talkcontribs) 09:51, June 10, 2018 (UTC) (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~

Try running the game in Windows XP compatibility mode. Ѧüя◎ґ (talk) 10:51, June 10, 2018 (UTC)
The Sims Complete Collection also has a number of other glitches on Windows 10. Upon starting you may get the "black box" glitch where the entire game window is covered with a black box. The fix for that is simple; simply press the CTRL, ALT, and DEL keys, and then exit the resulting menu that pops up.
The other issue is the game resolution, which will always be stuck in 800x600 in windowed mode. There is no way to solve this problem, unfortunately, without extensive modding. The only other solution is to play in fullscreen mode, which has its own problem: when you ALT+TAB away from the game, the game will freeze indefinitely when you return to it. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 11:38, June 10, 2018 (UTC)
