- By "largest family", do you mean by household size (achievable only through mods and hacks) or by number of members in total (in the family tree)?
- Well, in The Sims 2, I remember having a huge family of four generations. The house always had 8 residents living in it, and everyone was a Family Sim. I forgot their names, but I still have the hood, sitting in a zipped folder on my desktop. The hood fell into the succumbs of corruption, but I figured I could still extract the Sim's appearances using SimPE and recreate them. --k6ka (talk | contribs) 13:35, July 18, 2014 (UTC)
- My largest family, is got to be the one I made, when I was learning about the capabilities of aspirations. I used to make a household with a single sim with a certain aspiration, and practise trying to accomplish the wants they had, and checked what would trigger certain wants. I made a household with 2 sims, to test the family aspiration. I think they were called like Eli and Emily Family or something like that. I they ended up having about 30 kids. I would let the children grow up to adult, then move them out. Then have more. I can't even begin to remember their names. - My largest was back around 2005, in The Sims 2. There was a family, whose name I've somehow forgotten, that had ten kids because one of the parents had that particular want pop up. In turn, all those kids started having kids, and then some of those kids had kids too. All through this, this one family was marrying into all the other "large" families in my neighborhood, so that after awhile everyone was related to everyone through some complex string of births and marriages. -- LostInRiverview talk ~ blog 18:10, July 18, 2014 (UTC)

- The Saint family will be the largest family I ever created. I remember creating only Katherine as a nameless single mother with Nadia trying to get into a relationship with Mortimer. It ended up with Nadia being taken to Strangetown and Veronaville, marrying any Sim who I deemed worthy of her. It all ended when I began to hate Bella. Then I just wound up creating more and more Saints hoping I can match or surpass the Goth's amount of relatives popping up. Star ಠ_ಠBee 20:05, July 18, 2014 (UTC)
My largest family (updated) are the Jewels of ...wait for it... 26 GENETATIONS cause I played it on a different laptop since sims 3 release. Anyways they are GENERATION ONE: Armando Jewel hailing from Riverview, Holly Jewel nèè Alto, Bethany Jewel, Carrie Jewel Desmond Jewel. GENERATION TWO: Desmond Jewel, Cassandra Jewel Nee Goth, Ethan Jewel, Fauna Jewel, Gerald Jewel, Harriet Jewel. G 3: Gerald Jewel... The current one i'm playing now, the Wainwright, Blair is now an adult dating Cycl0n3 and have teenage T0rn4d0 and kid Hurr1c4n3 BUT their relationship is in the red. Susan and Boyd, who freezed their ages as an YA, had one more daughter Shae, who has an IF named Snuggles, and now Boyd adopted asian kid Winslow. The largest I have ever had was a six generation family with 1 elder a gingerhead and 2 adults and 2 adults and 2 young adults 2 young adutls and a teenager and a child. The Ginger grandfather live past the age of 115 sim days which was mind blowing to me and his spouse died of old age at 76
