I just thought I'd start a thread for people to discuss the many quirks and oddities about Nervous Subject.

Nervous Subject's Genetics

I'm just wondering if anybody has any ideas about how Nervous Subject has light skin, strangely tilted eyes and overall strange facial features when nobody else in his family has them. If the Grim Reaper really is his father, I still don't get where he got his gaunt face, tilted eyes and thin mouth from. I've heard that having a baby with the Grim Reaper using cheats results in a black haired, dark blue eyed child with the first face template. Another thing to note is that Nervous does indeed use the first face template but it is so heavily customized. Olive certainly looks nothing like him, Grim Reaper's kids look quite a bit different so where could his genes come from? It's even more strange in the case of the Hidden Nervous. He looks absolutely nothing like Olive or Grim Reaper's kids. Most pre-made playable and deceased Sims were made separately, not through genetic gameplay. Also the playable Nervous' face template is actually based off the sixteenth face template, but the nose comes from the first face template. You may have noticed that Nervous' face and General Buzz's are quite similar, but Nervous' is thinner and more customised. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 09:26, October 6, 2014 (UTC)

I've just done some research in-game, and it's actually the second face template the Grim Reaper uses, not the first one. People probably thought it was the first template because the second template looks very similar to the first template when used on toddlers, children, and female teenagers. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 02:25, April 25, 2015 (UTC)

Age difference

Nervous was a toddler when the Social Worker took him away. And he got adopted by Loki and Circe Beaker. But when Nervous was a toddler, Loki and Circe we're teens at that time. And was Specter an elder when she gave birth to Nervous? Because Nervous is 27 days away from becoming an elder, and Olive is like 2-3 days away before demise. Or did she just gave birth to him when she was almost an elder? It's one of the things that bothered me for years Sims2Player (talk) 18:17, June 4, 2015 (UTC)

Olive was an elder when she had Nervous, as confirmed by her memories. Also Olive, PT9 and Buzz's memories, when you compare them, reveal that Lyla died before Nervous was born, meaning that Johnny, Tank, Ripp, Buck, and Jill were born before Nervous and Ophelia, despite the fact that they are all younger than Nervous and - with the exception of Johnny - Ophelia, in-game.

Loki and Circe's memories show that Nervous had been living with them since he was a child which is illogical, because Nervous starts off as an adult only 4 Sim days younger than Circe. This can be reconciled if it's assumed that Nervous had multiple doses of elixir of life and got the negative effect on each dose. It is a strong possibility because Nervous' memories show that he didn't live very long as a child and teenager.

As for Ophelia, well, let's just say that she became older than Tank, Ripp, Buck, and Jill, much the same way Angela and Lilith ended up older than Alexander.
