If you've heard of Olive Specter, the only thing said is "murderer". For me the same thing comes to mind, but I know the real story behind everything. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.140.98.112 (talkcontribs) (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~

My main hint is this - every death is listed as a negative memory. Now, does it make sense for her to feel badly about death of her victims? Sligneris (talk) 00:20, December 17, 2013 (UTC)

You're right. Maybe she felt horrible about killing them. Maybe it was an accident. My best theory is:

Olive COULDN'T have killed Earl because on TS2, you can't block pool walls, so he must of been very tired to drown when nothing was containing him. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Emmacandyapple (talkcontribs) 22:40, December 20, 2013 (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~

Ah, but prior to TS3, Sims couldn't climb out of a pool without a ladder. Take the ladders away, and a Sim in a pool will eventually drown. Dharden (talk) 14:04, January 17, 2014 (UTC)

I agree, but with TS3, Olive Specter DOESN'T exist. I personally know TS2 well, so how does the pool ladder have anything to do with Olive. If she really REMOVED A LADDER and let someone drown, unless EA did it on purpose, I don't think she purposely did it, I think EA added some drama to the gaemplay for the players.

1) Olive Specter does exist in TS3. She lives in Midnight Hollow. 2) Well... everything in TS2, Sim's bio, memories, relationships, personality, skills... they're all set by the developers (EA) to create a gameplay for a particular character. Yes, deliberately. That's what The Sims 2 is all about. You assume what had happened to Sims before you play them, and you create their stories while you're playing them. And the point of this thread is to assume who Olive really is, in Sim's point of view, not ours. Nikel Talk Vote! 13:24, April 7, 2014 (UTC)

Yup, she's a knowledge sim, and even knowledge sims have bad memories of other sims\pets' deaths. Except if they hate them\hated them when they died, of course. Most of the people in her graveyard were her lovers, the siblings of her lovers, people like Lyla Grunt or Glabe Curious, Service NPC-looking sims, with one or two townie-looking ones, which can be later resurrected and married off to, say, Johnny Smith and Ophelia Nigmos' kids. --94.37.68.62 (talk) 11:56, April 18, 2014 (UTC)

I actually believe olive did kill everyone in her backyard. Some were..accidents, others were..purposeful. Even though there are many facts that point out that she couldn't have killed them..she did. Her love for the grim reaper is one. Another fact would be how she lives on a lot with so many dead peeps.HOW CAN YOU HAVE SO MANY DEAD PEEPS ON YOUR LOT!?!?. I also think opheliah wiull be next. Then there is Buzz Grunt..... Also, she married men with names of death. i Think olive is a sick, sadistic, psycho, vile, evil, killer. She will strike again.....Ovid hawkins 1 (talk) 21:06, May 9, 2014 (UTC)Ovid hawkins 1

She is a murderer, no doubts there! But she only has like 2 days left to live and then she'll be off to spend more time with Grim Reaper, which I'm sure she'd want! I don't think Ophelia will be her next victim (she'll get lucky I believe), I think Buzz will be new next victim. If he is, then I'd consider getting a Laganaphyllis Simnovorii! I just had thought about Olive. What if after she was left at the alter, she tried to end her life and that's where she met the Grim Reaper? And then, when he came to collect her, she decided she didn't want to die and begged for her life. He fell in love with her and let her live and, and then started to cause the death of the people on her property so he could come and see her. We've all seen his little clipboard with names, so it's not too crazy to think that he could work a little magic and move names around. I don't think Olive is a murderer, but I do think she has become surrounded by death and coped with it by desensitizing herself to death rather than going crazy when someone died on her property.32.216.8.243 (talk) 21:00, August 1, 2014 (UTC) Matt

Look, There are only So many Sims in Strangetown, Most of them are buried under Olives' Garden. I believe people like Her Parents & Willow were not her fault, Townies just exist, They could have Died BEFORE Olive even existed, Creon & Husbands EXCEPT for Ichabod were, in my opinion, Murders. Ichabods was an accident. I have nothing to Say for Grim and Nervous. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.105.5.20 (talkcontribs) 22:25, September 29, 2014‎ (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~

It's like Yandere Simulator. When Yandere-chan kills many people, she loses her sanity. When Olive has too many bad things happen to her, she loses her sanity. When she goes insane, she kills people and feels good. When Earl E. Demise left her at the altar, he didn't go off in a taxi, he hid outside. Olive got mad and...I'm too lazy to write the rest. Wait, have you ever played TS2 for PSP? Because one of the characters had a thing where she would murder her husbands and not be in control of herself. I think her name was Heather? Anyway, maybe Olive has the same...Condition, I'm going to call it, where she murders her husbands & relative while she is unconscious? ~ NuttySimmer (talk) 01:53, August 23, 2015 (UTC)

I've always suspected that Olive's apparent murders may be something to do with Vampire hunting - in the Sims 2, it makes reference to her "sharpening sticks" as a hobby, while in the Sims 3 she actually is a vampire. This doesn't pan out, however, when you consider that in Sims 2, many of her early husbands apparently died from drowning.

In Sims 3, however, the husbands' ghosts are different. They died by burning, which does work for the vampire theory - staked and left for the sun or burned the old fashioned way?

We know Olive likes to be wealthy and is distinctly upwardly mobile - perhaps she is a black widow, marrying vampires and then killing them for their fortunes? Her vampire status in Midnight Hollow suggests that one of the vamps got the better of her - perhaps Earl E. Demise? So that may be why the Reaper swept her away to his "preserve" in Midnight Hollow MorwenPeckledon (talk) 08:28, September 15, 2016 (UTC)
