This is the basic tutorial to turn a Sim into a Zombie.

The Sims

This section is in need of additional information. You can help The Sims Wiki by expanding this section.

The Sims

As far as I know, there is 1 way to make a sim a zombie in the original Sims game.

Method 1

If a sim dies and the grim reaper appears to take his/her soul, have a loved one or close friend plead to the grim reaper for their life. If the grim reaper happens to be in a good mood, then he will gove you your sim back a zombie. You zombie sim will keep all of it's skill points, but it's personality points will be lost.

The Sims 2

In The Sims 2, there are three ways to turn a Sim into a Zombie.

The first Method

The games/Packs you will need for this for this method are The Sims 2 and The Sims 2: University Life Expansion pack. Note that with this meathod, your sim will need to have some sort of prior connection with the sim you want to make a zombie.

Play as a University Graduate student, one who took a class that aids with the Paranormal Career. This career track will only be available if The university pack in installed. This method will need the Resurrect-o-Nomitron from the career rewards. The two ways to get this item from the career rewards catalog are:

1. Normal- Simply done by getting to the top of the Paranormal Career track, although this may take some time.

2. Cheats- Open the cheats box (Ctrl+Shift+C) and type in 'unlockCareerRewards' just like that, and press Enter.

After completing one of those two ways of getting the Resurrect-o-Nomitron, go to the career rewards catalogand scroll through it until one of the items it not greyed out. it should look like a normal yellow phone, but on a fancy stone pedestal and some sort of lava-mist coming from beneath it. Click at and drag it to the place where you want it, then place it before reverting back to live mode. Have your sim use the phone through the 'call grim reaper' option. wait until mr. reaper picks up, then choose the sim you want to bring back as a zombie.

After you've chosen your sim, the grim reaper will ask you to pay for the sim. if you go to low, you will not only loose you simolins, but also you will not get your sim back. If you go to high, the grom reaper will take your payment, an dyour sim will return as a perfectly normal sim with a normal life-state. the max amount you can give is 10,000 simoleons, and the minimum is 1 simoleon. To brong your sim back as a zombie, give around 5,000 simoleons, the grim reaper will say somthing about the sim not being 'complete' and a zombie of the ressurected sim will apear in a cloud of smoke, and will be added to the household.

The second Method

The games/packs you will need for this method are The Sims 2 and The Sims 2: Apartment Live Expansion pack. Note that with this method, you will need access to the the grave/ashes of the sim you want to turn into a zombie.

Play as an atrociously evil witch, who has learned all the spells.

Preform the Vivificus Zombiae spell. For this spell, the reagents needed are:

2x Dragon scales, 2x Eye of newt, and 2x Viper essence.

Have your sim go to the gravestone/pot where the soon-to-be-a-zombie sims remains are, and click on it. The go to the 'cast spell option, and the Vivificus Zombiae spell should be available if you have all the right reagents in your inventory and your dark magic skill is high enough.

After being commanded, your witch sim will go to the remains and cast the spell, causing the gravestone/pot to dissappear in a puff of smoke, repaced by the zombie version of the ressurected sim.

The Sims 3

Note-these methods are from the sims 3-supernatural this game has not yet been released, an dsome ways may be inaccurate!

So far, I know of 3 ways to become a zombie in sims 3. all of these games require the expansion pack, sims 3 supernatural.

The first method

In my opinion, the easiest. throug the new life-state chooser in CaS. It's as simple as that. got to CaS and choose the zombie option.

The second method

Be bitten by a zombie. In some casses, the affects will only last temporarily, like in cases when a sim is turned into a zombie using a certain elixer aquired through the alchemy skill. if your sim was bittn by a zombie that rose from the ground after nightfall, your sims transformation is permenant unless cured through potions gained from the aid alchemy skill.

The third method

Throuhg potions made at the alchemy table. I'm prettey sure that there are 2 zombie potions you can make, one affects the sim temporarily. If a sim that is only a temporary zombie bites another sim, turning them into a zombie to, then the affects will only be tomporary on the bitten sim as well.

If the permanent zombie potion is used, then the only way to sure your sim of being a zombie if by using a potion from the alchemy table. If you make a zombie sim through the permenant potion, the affects will also be permanent on any sims bitten by you zombie.

The Sims 3

Zombies aren't available as a life state in The Sims 3. This tutorial focuses purely on cosmetic side of creating a zombie.

Open the game, and select your neighbourhood.

Hold CTRL SHIFT C to open up the cheat window. Type in as follows

testingcheatsenabled true

Enter. Then bring up the window again and type

unlockOutfits on

This enables all the hidden clothes and hairstyles, ie: Career outfits, ambitions fails etc.

Now go to create a sim/household.

Select your zombie's gender. Now onto the skin color. Click on the little arrow to display more skintones. If you have CC (custom content) in your game, you may or may not see the default skin tones, which include red, blue and green. Scroll on your mouse to display the other skintones. I would select a blue or a green. Make your sim quite skinny, and muscular.

Next you will want to select a hair, correct? Choose something you think will suit your zombie and make it realistic. Also, be sure to check out the hidden styles.

Now we are onto your zombie's face. Make them look however you like. I would go for dark black eyes as it makes them look menacing, or bright white eyes. When you are happy, go onto make-up.

If you do NOT have ambitions, this might not help too much. Under eye-liner, there are several options which look like tears, which you could change to blood red, or blue/green to match the skin. Under lipstick, there are some 'fails' which look like blood smeared across the face. This looks very effective.

Your sim should start to look more and more like a zombie, aren't they?

We are now onto the clothing. Under 'tops', there should be some ripped clothing which will look very good with your zombie. You can also download clothes off of the internet which are ideal for zombies. There are patterns available which look like blood too. Select your outfits, take advantage of the hidden clothing. Look under each catagory for more options.

Your sim is now ready to scare the residents!

There are mods out there which can make your sim walk like a zombie, you just have to know where to find them. There are also worlds up for download on the exchange where your zombie will blend in.
