Not unticking relationship boxes before proceeding[edit source]

Would it be safe to do this without unticking all the relationship boxes beforehand? Since there are some Sims that I plan on deleting from this PC that I typically use during the holidays, to free up space, and I really don't want to have to go through the process of unticking thousands of relationship boxes.

It says that all I need to do is remove unwanted Sim's family ties, but it doesn't say that I have to do it with Sims that aren't related to the said Sim. Is that the case? ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 07:48, October 2, 2015 (UTC)

Relationships are automatically cleared by the debugger, like everything else. The only things that the debugger does not remove are family ties, owned businesses, vacation homes, and the SDSC. If you're concerned about the relationships, just run the HoodChecker after deleting the Sims. --I am k6ka Talk to me! See what I have done 11:11, October 2, 2015 (UTC)

Stop redundant townies from regenerating[edit source]

From what I've experienced, I'm pretty sure if a fresh neighbourhood is started, it won't stop the game from regenerating redundant social class townies, as least if there isn't already a really high population of social class townies and townies. For example, in Desiderata Valley on my granddad's PC, the game won't regenerate redundant social class townies, unless I explicitly tell the game to do so.

Whereas when I start a new neighbourhood to test something out, I look in the package files of the newly created neighbourhood, and I always find that a few new social class townies have been made, even with the mods installed. That's something to think about.

And also I just remembered, does the mod that prevents the game from overloading the neighbourhood with social class townies still use social class townies as roommates, or does it strictly use regular townies only? ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 06:15, October 15, 2015 (UTC)

Argh[edit source]

So, I accidentally deleted File:Ts2 deleting sims tutorial img 19.gif because I thought it was unused. Listing it here so I don't wind up deleting it again. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 13:23, June 4, 2016 (UTC)
