Gilbert Jacquet is the only child of Yves and Denise Jacquet. He lives with his mother in Bluewater Village and is 15 days away from becoming an elder. When first played, he has no skills, but has made progress toward a bronze talent badge in operating cash registers.[confirmation needed] Gilbert has inherited J'Adore Bakery, which his father used to own.
He has crushes on Breanna Custer, one of the Bluewater Village townies, and Trina Dalton, one of J'Adore Bakery's employees. However his crush on Trina isn't mutual, as she only considers him an acquaintance. Like most pre-made single Sims in Bluewater Village, Gilbert has no Gender preference at the start of the game.
Even though Gilbert has black hair, his SimDNA reveals that his natural hair color is actually blond. This can also be distinguished by the color of his eyebrows. If Gilbert's appearance is extracted to BodyShop, his facial structure will be different.
