The Grinder family is a pre-made family from Garden Heights, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims Pet Stories. The family consists of Coach Grinder and his dog, Meat. An ex-military man, Coach Grinder believes anything that can sound good delivered at under eighty-five decibels isn't really worth saying. Surprisingly, Coach does have a sensitive side and a real soft spot for his dog. Meat may have suffered some hearing loss because of his owner's no-nonsense and unsubtle communication style, but the two are undeniably close. Coach Grinder and his dog Meat might seem content to be left alone, but Coach is actually loads of fun at parties and Meat is surprisingly friendly with people who get to know him.
The Grinder family lives in 1364 Dargail Lane and becomes playable from there after the Best in Show story is finished.
