Hamlet Dane, Jr., is one of the pre-made, unplayable ancestral Sims who is father of Cornwall Capp. He resided, during his lifetime, in Veronaville, one of the neighborhoods that ships with the game. His wife was Tobea Dane. Together, the two had Cornwall Capp (né Dane). He taught Cornwall how to walk and how to talk when he was a toddler.
According to Cornwall's memories, Hamlet died not long after Cornwall aged into an adult. Hamlet's wife, Tobea, died not long after Cornwall got married. Unlike most deceased Veronaville Sims, he has personality points. This could possibly mean that he was originally meant to be playable. Another hint towards this is that he is one of the first Sims to be created in Veronaville.[1] He also has 11,500 aspiration points and will want to have a baby.
Hamlet Jr., and his father share the name of the title character in Shakespeare's Hamlet. His name is from Hamlet's father, the king, who was also named Hamlet.
