Hyacinth Atkins is an elderly Sim residing in Bridgeport. She lives with her twin sister Violet and her Great-nephew Jett Atkins. Hyacinth is also the mother of Cressida Wells. Like her sister, she is retired from the business career track, at level 5 (Department Head). She is best friends with her sister, good friends with her great-nephew and distant friends with her daughter. She also has skills in common with her sister, which are 8 points in Piano and 1 in Charisma. They seem to be identical twins with relatively minor differences.

She and her sister share almost all of their characteristics, including nearly all their traits (except that Violet is Unlucky, while Hyacinth is Lucky), their taste for Classical music, their lifetime wish of presenting the perfect private aquarium, their hairstyle and their clothing. They will usually wish for the same things at start of the game. The physical difference resides in the colors of their clothing and hair: Hyacinth's are light blue and Violet's are light purple but their facial features are exactly the same. If playing Generations, playing as the Atkins household or another, she will have a cane and will walk around with it, anoying some players.
