INS Agent is part of the Maxis-made Agent household, which was formerly available from the official website for The Sims. His name indicates that he works for the Immigration and Naturalization Service, a now defunct United States agency which was absorbed by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in 2003. (Please note that the agency in question was not defunct when the character was created.) He works in the Business career as a Vice President. He has identical personality points to his roommate, NSA Agent.

When first played, he will ordinarily wear a checkered blue shirt and tan trousers - like the outfits of his roommates, this is one of the default outfits from The Sims base game. However, there appears to be a minor glitch associated with this character, where if Livin' Large and/or House Party are installed he may load wearing any random outfit available for a fit, light-skinned adult male from those expansions, and this often seems to result in his wearing fancy dress.
