James Briggs is a pre-made character from The Sims Pet Stories. He lives in Mesa Flats with his wife Kadisha Briggs. His best friend is Stephen Loyal. In the beginning of Stephen's story, James runs from Celeste Girard's wedding to remind Stephen about his cousin's wedding. Later in the story, Stephen and James work together to expose Gordon Fetching as the con-man that had moved to Mesa Flats.

Once the player finishes Stephen's story, James and his wife Kadisha become playable.
