Gordon Fetching is a pre-made adult Sim from Mesa Flats, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims Pet Stories. He is the main antagonist in the Midnight Masquerade story. Gordon has recently moved to Mesa Flats and is quite a mysterious figure. He keeps such a high profile that some wonder if he can really be all that he seems. Gordon first appears in the story as the best man of Damien Girard at his wedding with Celeste at A Little Salmon Wedding Chapel. Stephen Loyal arrives late at his cousin Celeste's wedding and later introduces himself to Gordon, who makes a joke about Stephen being late that doesn't land well with him. Stephen meets Rachel Ware at the wedding and after having fun with her he asks her out, but it turns out she already has plans with Gordon.

Two days later, Gordon shows up at Mesa Flats Pet Supply while Stephen is there buying a litterbox for his temporary cat Diva. Gordon flirts with a woman named Hailey Long inside the pet store and is revealed to be a womanizer. Diva then scares Gordon, causing everyone in the store to laugh at him. Gordon then insults Diva and tells Stephen to keep her away from him. He also tells Stephen to stay away from "his" Rachel and leaves.

The next day, while Stephen and Rachel are out together at Club Z, Gordon shows up again. To keep Stephen away from Rachel, he tells her that he thought about her proposal from last night and wants to discuss it with her right away. Later, it is revealed by Rachel that she and Gordon are business partners. Stephen got the impression that Rachel wanted him to ask her to the masquerade, but that he can't compete with Gordon.

Besides Rachel, Stephen also appears to develop a potential love interest in Erin Davis during the story. When he decides to ask Erin to the Midnight Masquerade, it turns out that she is already going with Gordon and that they are also developing a relationship.

A couple days later, Gordon takes his henchman Anthony Zilch over to Flat Hat Bar to cause some trouble. He sees Stephen is hanging out with Rachel again and ignored the warning Gordon gave him back at Mesa Flats Pet Supply. For that, after Rachel goes to the ladies' room, Gordon starts a fight with Stephen and wins it. Meanwhile, Anthony initiates a fight with Stephen's friend, James Briggs, but loses. When Rachel returns after the fighting, Gordon asks her if she'd like to go to masquerade with him, but she says that she had already agreed to go with Stephen. Gordon says that he and Rachel still have their business project to handle and leaves with Anthony.

Next day, Gordon takes Erin out to Club Z and Stephen and Rachel turn up there as well. At some point, despite being there with Erin, Gordon tries to grab Rachel, but she pushes him away. Stephen then decides to kiss Rachel in front of Gordon to make him leave her alone. Erin sees them kissing as well and asks Stephen if he's dating Rachel now to which he replies 'sort of' which makes Rachel angry, so she tells him she'll call tomorrow and leaves. Gordon then says Erin painted him in a portret and gives the painting to Stephen to show off. After that, Gordon and Erin leave together.

On the Masquerade day, Gordon and Erin go to the Amber Hall for the Midnight Masquerade and slow dance together. Stephen and Rachel came together and Gordon tells Rachel she looks great, but that she chose the wrong date. Rachel then agrees to one dance with Gordon, but says that she didn't come to be with him. Soon, Gordon heads onto the stage to perform music. Gordon's henchman Anthony arrives to discuss the state of their secret plan on the roof. Stephen takes the mask Gordon took off to play music and beguiles Anthony, who falls for his disguise and tells him that everything is in place and that they'll have all the girls' simoleons by morning. Anthony also reveals that Gordon's last name is actually Schickel. Stephen immediately tells that to James who informs the police. After Julianne Charlot announces Gordon as the king of the Midnight Masquerade, the police arrive and arrest him and Diva also stops Anthony from escaping. Stephen is then annouced king instead.

It is revealed that Gordon Schickel is the Arbor Falls con-man from the news and that he and his henchman Anthony tried to pull off a business scam on both Erin and Rachel to steal their simoleons, which Stephen prevented.

Despite the story implying he was sent off to jail, Gordon lives in 31 McLaren Street, still under the name Fetching, and becomes playable from there after the story is finished.

Gordon has the Fortune aspiration and the Aries zodiac sign. As far as personality goes, Gordon is very outgoing and somewhat active. But also extremely serious. When it comes to his skill points, Gordon is close towards maximizing the charisma skill, has high body and mechanical skills, is past halfway towards maximizing the logic skill, is almost halfway towards maximizing the cleaning skill, and has low creativity and cooking skills. His main interests are Money, Crime, Food, and Travel.

• Since Gordon wears a mask in the story, his facial structure could be replaced with the second template in CAS. This is a common glitch in The Sims Pet Stories.
• There is a painting that represents Gordon painted by Erin Davis.
• Gordon slightly resembles the real life con man, Kevin Trudeau.
• Like Anthony Zilch, he has the ability to sneak, this is due to him having a burglar NPC flag.
