Kim Kent is pre-made Sim created by Grant Rodiek that can be downloaded on the exchange. Her roommates are Liam O'Dourke and Piper Hipp. It's a bit hard to find this download on the site. It's under "The House that Grant Built", made by SimsGuruFlix (an EA representative).
This character was made for promotional purposes and does not exist in the retail game. However, her household is available for download from the official website for The Sims 3.

- She is one of the many Sims that appeared on the cover for The Sims 3.
- There is a second (deceased) Kim Kent in the house Kim lives in. Her urn is there and she died of starvation. The dead Kim's picture is blank when she is mourned so her appearance is unknown.
- She is featured in one of the Sim introduction videos by EA in "The Sims 3: Meet Kim, artistic flirt".
- She can briefly be seen in the "Cola Cola Avatar" commercial walking by with a plumbob above her head. "Avatar".
