The Lightning Leap Atomic Molecular Arranger or LLAMA for short is a new mode of transportation in The Sims 3: Supernatural. It resembles a phone booth / box with a word written in Simlish along the top. Not unlike the Subway system in Bridgeport, the LLAMA has the ability to transport Sims from one location to another in a few seconds, regardless of distance.

This item appears to be a reference to the TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimension In Space) from the long-running British science fiction television program Doctor Who.

Usage

Firstly, it is required to have at least 2 LLAMAs in the world in order for them to function. Sims can enter a LLAMA, after which the player can select any lot within the world that also contains a LLAMA. After making that choice, the Sim will enter the LLAMA, after which the box hovers and the top opens up, revealing a circular spinning device that glows. The Sim will disappear and reappear at the chosen destination LLAMA in 2-3 seconds, regardless of how far apart the LLAMAs are.

Tips & Warnings

  • Players are able to name the LLAMA however they want, but this does not affect anything but the name that shows up on the selection screen.
  • Using the LLAMA often can result in a "Terrified" moodlet or worse, a "Tragic Clown" moodlet which lasts for 24 hours, gives the victimized Sim a clown appearance, and gives all Sims near the affected Sim an "It's Just So Tragic" moodlet, which lasts as long as the "clowned" Sim is near them.
