Lolita Goth is a pre-made deceased Sim from The Sims 3, who is a possible member of the Goth family, however her link to them is unknown. Her tombstone is located in the family graveyard on their lot in Sunset Valley, where her ghost also haunts them.

Her exact relationship to the rest of the Goth family is unknown, since she does not appear in the family tree, and was never mentioned in any previous The Sims games.

Her name is most likely a reference to the young girl in the novel Lolita written by Vladimir Nabokov. Her traits Bookworm, Childish, and Great Kisser is similar to the narrator's description of the personality of the novel's main character. It may also be a reference to the most famous branch of Japanese Lolita fashion.

Onomatology
The name Lolita is a diminutive form of the Spanish name Dolores which means "pains".
Resurrection tip
This Sim can be brought back to life with ambrosia or with the Oh My Ghost! opportunity. For more information, read Game guide:Bringing Sims back to life.

Lolita Goth theories

Since she can't be found in the family tree, it is possible that she was not actually a relative, but simply shared the same last name as the Goth family. It is also rumored that she was originally intended to be a relative of the family, but she was left out because the family could not hold more than eight Sims.If you obtain the Oh My Ghost option it is possible to see what her relationship to the Goth Family is.

One of the possibilities is that she is Frida Goth, Gunther Goth's sister. As opposed to Lolita, Frida has existed in previous The Sims games. A contrary argument is that she died as a young adult, while Frida's ghost in The Sims 2 is that of an elder. For Lolita to be Frida, she would have to have been resurrected, and then changed her name at some point.

It is also quite possible that Lolita was the first wife or lover of either Victor Goth or Gunther Goth, which would explain why she isn't in the family tree though she shares the same surname, which is the case of Glabe Curious. It may also help explain why Gunther and Cornelia had Mortimer so late in life; according to the general theory, Gunther married Cornelia after his first wife, Lolita, died. That could be why Gunther doesn't have a good relationship with Cornelia, and why Lolita's ghost has been known to flirt with Gunther while Cornelia isn't looking.

It is possible that she is the mother of Victor Goth and in The Sims she is dead in the graveyard in Cornelia's and Gunther's house graveyard, such as Auntie.

Another possibility is that she is Frida and Gunther's half-sister who died. None of these theories have been confirmed yet by Electronic Arts. Further clues may come in a later expansion pack, but until then her identity remains a mystery.
