Maurus Destraga is one of the pre-made deceased ancestral Sims who resided during his lifetime in Belladonna Cove, the neighborhood shipped with The Sims 2: Apartment Life. He was the husband of Teigra Destraga, the father of Magdalena Contender (née Destraga), the grandfather of Isabel Baldwin (née Contender), and the great-grandfather of Sofia and Marcus Baldwin. Maurus is completely resurrectable, even though he doesn't have a grave. He has the Fortune aspiration, and the Sagittarius zodiac sign. As far as personality, Maurus is very active and quite playful. But he is very sloppy, quite shy, and somewhat grouchy.
According to Maurus' SimDNA in SimPE, his hair was red before it turned grey. According to his age data, he had 18 days left in the elder life stage when he died. Maurus' facial structure is almost, if not identical to the 14th Maxis face template in Create a Sim. Unlike several other married ancestors from Apartment Life who have memories of their spouses, he only has Mystery Sim memories. However Maurus still has memories of Magdalena's birth, as well as his granddaughter Isabel getting engaged and married.
Resurrection tip
This Sim can be brought back to life using the Resurrect-O-Nomitron, the genie lamp or an evil witch's spell.
