Melanie Worthington is a pre-made Sim, featured in Showtime, living with her grandson, Girbits Worthington, in Starlight Shores. Melanie is friends with her daughter and grandson. She has not learned any skills yet, however, it is said that she to be an excellent gardener when she was younger and that she loves cooking to her grandson. She is also quite old-fashioned since she doesn't understand Girbits' computer. games Her hair is brown but her eyebrows are grey which means she may have dyed it. In her inventory, she carries a book and, if Generations is installed, she may carry a walking cane in it as well.

Trivia

• Although Melanie's hair is brown with dark roots at the start of the game, when the hair color is edited in Create-A-Sim, it is recognized as blonde with grey roots and highlights, despite appearing brown. However, her hair turns to color recognized in Create-A-Sim mode if her everyday clothes is changed to any of the other outfits. If the changes are accepted, her hair will become permanently blonde. If gameplay is run without having her edited in Create-A-Sim, her hair will be brown when wearing the everyday attire and blonde when wearing any other outfit.
