Oberon Summerdream (né Gossamer) is a male playable character in The Sims 2. He is a resident of Veronaville and based off a Shakespeare character from A Midsummer Night's Dream. He is in love with Titania, and they are unmarried at the start, but wish to get engaged. He has two adopted children, Bottom and Puck. He is in the Slacker career at the Home Video Editor stage, although his aspiration is knowledge as normally sims with this aspiration wouldn't be in Slacker career.. His appearance, like his family, is similar to that of an elf. He has the Knowledge aspiration. He has high relationships with both the Capp Family and the Monty Family, along with his family, making them the neutral party in the feud.
His name is taken from Oberon, King of the Fairies, in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.
