Paolo is a member of the Partihaus club, along with his roommates and is also a member the Powerhouse with Marcus and Clara Bjergsen, though Paolo doesn't have a relationship with her.

It appears that Paolo is romantically interested in Morgan Fyres in the The Sims 4: Get Together announcement trailer. However, this did not translate to the final game since Paolo doesn't even know Morgan, and is too old to have a romantic relationship with her.
