Peter lives with his mother, Dora, his wife Samantha, and their three children, David, Sharla, and Tommy. His wife is pregnant with twins at the start of the game, but due to a bug, Peter may not be correctly designated as the biological father (this is addressed in the Seasons patch).

He and his family are in the family bin in each neighborhood, and can be placed in whichever neighborhood the player chooses. He has the romance aspiration yet, and fortunately for the couple, he seems perfectly content with only Samantha, hinting that the two may be deeply in love.

When first played Peter is 21 days from being an elder. His wife has 22 days left, despite having three children already. This is only possible through the use of cheats, Elixir of Life or creating a family in Create a Sim.
