Robert Jones is a pre-made deceased Sim in Roaring Heights, who is possibly a member of the Jones family, however his relationship to them is unknown.

It is implied in the bios of the Jones family that he is the late husband of Beverly Jones, and father to her two children, Helen and Edward. However, he is not actually linked to them in their family tree, though this is standard for deceased Sims in The Sims 3.

He shares his name with a downloadable character named Bobby Jones from The Sims ("Bobby" being a nickname for "Robert"). Bobby's father is named Edward, the same name as Robert's (probable) son, and some players have speculated that the two may be the same person, though it is admittedly unlikely due to the ambiguities in the series timeline. However, if this is the case, Bobby could have been named for his late grandfather; the repetition of both names might be seen to strengthen the case for a connection between the two families. However, this is merely speculation.

His tombstone is located in Resting Meadows. He died of old age.

Resurrection tip
This Sim can be brought back to life with ambrosia or with the Oh My Ghost! opportunity. For more information, read Game guide:Bringing Sims back to life.
